NASA's Human Systems Integration Division enables the development of complex aerospace systems through analysis and modeling of human performance and human-automation interactions. It is home to a dedicated, innovative and creative workforce which is helping NASA to fulfill its mission in the safest, most efficient manner possible. In recognition of these efforts, several individuals and teams have been awarded 2023 NASA Honor Awards.

Early Career Achievement Medals were awarded to the Division's Mirko Blaustein-Jurcan and Garrett Sadler, while the Exceptional Achievement Medal was awarded to Holly Brosnahan. Two Division project teams, the Design for Maintainability team and the Moon to Mars SE&I Verification Compliance Tool team, were given Group Achievement Awards as well.

As the agency's most prestigious awards, NASA Honor Awards are approved by the Administrator and presented to individuals and groups who have distinguished themselves by making outstanding contributions to the Agency's mission. NASA medals and/or certificates are presented by the Agency's highest officials at the annual awards ceremonies held at NASA Headquarters and at each NASA center. This year's ceremony at NASA Ames Research Center will take place on May 22, 2024.
