PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2007-present, Senior Research Psychologist, Human System Integration Division, NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California.
Lead research team, develop technologies, and conduct research pertaining to cognitive demands, resource management, and human performance under stress in technically advanced aircraft and medical settings during normal and non-normal conditions through laboratory and simulator studies, field observations, and analysis of incident and accident reports. Conduct research pertaining to design and functionality of paper and electronic checklists and procedures and human error in their execution and provide consultation to a wide range of individuals, companies, agencies, hospitals, and academia regarding checklist design and use in aviation and medicine.
